![]() In order to cover the costs associated with this project, estimated to be between $3000-$5000, we are seeking sponsorship partnerships in exchange for excellent advertising opportunities both prior to and during the final project symposium. This will take place in March of 2010 at the University of Waterloo campus. Hundreds of students, faculty members, and industry leaders attend the symposium, and awards are given for the top projects.
Leading up to the final symposium, a news feed will be added to this website with regular updates so that you can follow the project's progress. A company logo of your choosing would be prominently displayed both on this website and on the final poster at the symposium, along with any hard-copy promotional material that you wish to send us to distribute.
In addition to this, we are excited to offer the opportunity to have your logo etched onto part of the micropump chip structure. This would be viewable under a microscope during the symposium. Also, your company can utilize this to help promote your commitment to student design teams, in the form of a press release or news article on your own website.
It is important to note that any contributions made by an Ontario based company may be matched by the Ontario Centres of Excellence through the "Connections" program, up to a maximum of $3500. Both financial as well as in kind contributions of any materials or equipment required for the project count towards this matching amount, and would be greatly appreciated.
All of these advertising outlets will give you exceptional exposure to both academic and business opportunities at one of Canada's premier universities, located in a city that received the prestigious 2007 Intelligent Community of the Year award.
We believe this pump technology will have many novel applications in a wide range of industries. Therefore, after fabricating a working prototype of the pump we would also be very interested in forming a more collaborative partnership if you have an idea or project for which we could apply our pump towards.
If you are interested in discussing this exciting opportunity further, please do not hesitate to contact us. |
